The space
It’s a tiny house, decorated with a rustic chic atmosphere. The view of our 3 acre lake and open pasture can’t be beat. Coming in spring 2017 we will have a new fire pit for guests to enjoy or even cook out some of our farm fresh beef hamburgers or steaks for an additional fee and if prior arrangements are made.
Guest access
Just steps out the front door, is a fire pit for your grilling and chilling needs (BYOW – or for $5/bundle we can deliver some). Just steps past that is our beautiful lake stocked with fish. They are currently still Growing, so at this point are catch and release. Don’t forget your poles, or we can deliver poles for $5/pole.
Other things to note
The cabin is located right behind our event venue, so most weekends of the year are booked out for that and pretty busy. The weekdays are a little more quiet and serene.
We are located amidst a working farm so you will hear and possibly see evidence of wildlife, outdoor critters and nature if you venture into any outdoor exploring or just by looking out the window. Geese frequent our lake and cows are in the pastures in the distance of the cabin too.
We are on well water and it is safe to drink but if you aren’t used to it, you may prefer bottled water. Our county water does have sulfur so at times you’ll notice that sulfur smell when the water is running. Ps-this also means that you may taste it in the local restaurants water or tea as well if you are super sensitive to it.
Because it’s a tiny house, it is more like “glamping” – camping with all of the modern amenities (including a fire pit right out front) in a little cozy cabin. It is our little slice of heaven where we keep things simple, as to not take away from the beauty of the land and the amazing sunsets! We look forward to having you and sharing our place. 🙂
