Gathering Garins Lodge

A totally unique farm stay in the cutest repurposed set of three grain bins! The sunrise and sunsets over our three acre lake, along with a the peaceful ambiance make this a relaxing stay you’ll be nostalgic to come back to! Bring your fishing poles and enjoy a day of fishing, letting your kids experience the farm setting with plenty of room to run and play and even curl up to a campfire and end your night with a weenie roast and s’mores. This is a one of a kind atmosphere and place to stay!

The space
Just 10-15 miles away from University of Central Missouri and the Missouri State Fair, Knob Noster State Park and Whiteman Air Force Base (home of the B-2 Stealth Bomber). If you need a place to unwind and unplug come give our front porch a try with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine while you watch the cattle graze and the sun come up or go down …or both! We love sharing our piece of the country side with our guests!

Other things to note
We do have well water, which is completely safe to drink, however, if you aren’t used to it, you might notice a sulfur smell to the water. It is found in most of the water in Johnson County. We try to stock the fridge with a few water bottles to get you started, but if you’re picky about your water, you might want to bring some extra bottles water.

Our goal is for you to truly enjoy a slower pace of life and the ambience of our location. To spend time reflecting and enjoying the sunrise/sunset, sounds of nature. Therefore, we do not have cable television, but do stock some books, games and movies for your enjoyment. It is our hope that you’ll make memories as a couple, family, or group of friends by enjoying the simple things in life.
